How can ATLAS contribute to our understanding of the
early Universe and dark matter?
The LHC can take us back to conditions less than a billionth of a second after the Big Bang. What we learn will help explain how our Universe developed as it did with stars and galaxies and clusters of galaxies. It will help us understand the role dark matter played as the Universe expanded and cooled.
